I ran my TV stuff off of a Beta of Slack 9. Does anyone have any idea ??? It could help me watching TV :) Yeah, I'd try it without a config file, just run through the GUI stuff until something works. Then try mplayer. MPlayer rocks. You'll have to google around a lot for the specific settings for French TV settings

In *MY PERSONAL* experience, Linux not as stable as Windows.
